I am a clinical mental health therapist and have been working with parents for almost 15 years. Most of my career has been working in a hospital setting supporting families of children with severe medical conditions. With that work, I recognized the need for better support for all parents and became eager to make that my primary role.

I graduated from University of California, Los Angeles in 2010 with my masters in social work.  I am a certified perinatal mental health counselor and received my training and certification from Postpartum Support International in 2023.

About Me

My Work as a Maternal Mental Health Therapist (LICSW, PMH-C)

Having navigated the transition to parenthood myself, I bring a blend of lived experience and clinical practice to my work. I am committed to always being my authentic self because our relationship is a vital part of healing in therapy. My approach uses gentle guidance and reflection to help my clients build on their own strengths, feel confident and to heal from trauma.

The therapy techniques that I primarily use are cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), exposure and response prevention (ERP) and solution focused brief therapy.

I use evidence-based treatments and current best practices. I am dedicated to continuous professional development to learn new skills and remain informed about emerging approaches.
